Sofiia Kozachenko grew up in Ukraine and was a child prodigy in the world of chess by the time she was eight years old. Over the next decade she traveled the world, competing in regional, national and international competitions and won multiple championships.

Sofia graduated from the University of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2022 with a degree in political science but had to flee Ukraine in 2023 because of the war and moved to America where she now lives in Hollywood, Florida.

While dealing with the challenges of starting her life over in a new country, Sofia turned to what she knows best. She turned her lifelong passion for chess into a thriving business, helping people of all ages, skill levels and walks of life, learn how to master the art of chess.

She has had hundreds of satisfied customers over the last five years. This includes teaching the basics to beginners and helping seasoned competitors go on to become champions.

Sofiia’s philosophy doesn’t just teach students how to win the game of chess, but has helped them develop skills to win the game of life. They learn discipline, commitment, creativity, sportsmanship, and critical thinking which translates into better academic and professional performance far beyond the game.
